Committed to preserving our local bushland
At Hollywood Reserve we care for our local bushland by planting, watering and tending the native Australian flora. We meet up for monthly working bees, sharing delicious morning teas from April - October and water the plants regularly throughout the dry summer months. We are passionate about maintaining this precious little piece of bushland on our doorsteps; however, we need all the help we can get. Following the storm and the loss of many large trees in recent years, we have planted number of seedlings this year and we are working hard to keep the weeds under control.
Come along on the second Sunday of the month and enjoy making a difference.
No experience necessary and equipment provided. All ages are welcome. Newletters inform about upcoming events and the plants and fungi and fauna seen in the reserve. Learn about the native flora and fauna unique to WA from the locals who know the bushland best. Connect with the community and make new friends.
